Past and Present is a student-run undergraduate research publication in the Department of History and Political Science at York College of Pennsylvania. The journal was started in 1989 and has had annual or semi-annual publications of student research ever since. The journal is run by two senior editors (one history major and one political science major) for either one or both of their final semesters at the college. The students work with a faculty advisor who guides their work and teaches them the process of editing research and compiling it into a high class publication.
